King Air Captain

Job Summary

FLA is seeking an immediate candidate to fill the role of a Citation 550 Captain for Part 91/135 operation based in Fresno, California. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills in addition to a professional, safety-conscious mindset while working diligently in a teamwork environment.

Experience and Qualifications

  • ATP
  • CE500 Type Rating
  • Current First Class Medical Certificate
  • 3,000 hours Total Time
  • 1,500 hours Multi-Engine time, at a minimum
  • 1,000 hours Turbine or 200 hours Jet, preferably in type
  • No previous record of aircraft accidents or FAA violations
  • Desired: previous 135 experience

Additional Requirements

  • Must reside or relocate to Central California and live within one (1) hour of the Fresno International Airport.
  • Knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Maintain strong safety awareness and professional skills
  • Computer and iPad proficiency
  • Applicants must possess the legal right to work in the United States of America and the ability to travel in and out of the United States of America
  • Valid passport
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently
  • Applicants are subject to FAA/DOT drug testing program, pilot records check, finger printing, and driver’s record check
  • Desired: Garmin experience

Compensation 

This position is scheduled as a full-time, salaried position with the company. Salary will be commensurate with experience based on the United States of America national average. The successful candidate who earns the position can expect company benefits to include medical benefits, paid vacation, and scheduled days off.

FLA also operates King Air series aircraft under Part 135 operations. Additional compensation will be made available to candidates who are interested in serving as Captain on the King Air as a secondary position.

Aircraft Line Service Technician

Job Summary

Flight Level Aviation is a full-service FBO operating and serving at the Fresno Chandler Executive Airport. Our team is growing and we are looking for a candidate to serve as a line service technician.

Our company provides aircraft support, customer service, aircraft detailing, maintenance, and travel arrangements for the general aviation community.

The following job functions outline the day to day responsibilities for this job:

Experience and Qualifications

  • Service Aircraft as requested by management or customers to include: aircraft fueling, marshaling, towing, lavatory and potable water service, ground power units and aircraft cleaning.
  • Operate a drive ground service equipment to include: fuel trucks, ground power units, shuttle, and tow equipment.
  • Properly provide aircraft marshaling instructions to all arriving and departing aircraft.\
  • Participates in customer service activities that require aircraft scheduling and ground support services.
  • Delivers and receives fuel to and from company trucks and fuel farm.
  • Ability to perform aircraft cleaning services in addition to restocking of aircraft cabins.
  • Assists aircraft with loading and unloading of baggage.
  • Performs inventory management and quality control of all trucks and storage tanks.
  • Abide by emergency response procedures if an event occurs.
  • Provides after-hours and weekend call-out service as required.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.

To be qualified for this position, a candidate must be able to:

  • Ability to read, understand and follow all company policies, safety procedures and remain compliant with local airport and county policies.
  • Safely and efficiently perform various job functions.
  • Safely conduct flight line operations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ability to perform work functions outside and in some cases extreme temperature and inclement weather.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job which include: extensive and constant standing, walking, lifting, carrying, stretching, pinching, pushing, pulling, bending, crawling, climbing, and twisting.
  • Reliable and timely attendance is required for all shifts which may include, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Must be a self-starter and ability to work independently in preparing for work functions to include planning for aircraft arrivals, departures and service requests.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass background checks (Criminal and Motor Vehicle), drug tests, and be insurable by the company’s applicable insurance policies.
  • Possess and maintain a Valid Drivers License.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred candidate will have prior aviation line service working experience or training in aviation customer service.
